Explore the Monte W. Mays Midtown Museum

Appomattox boasts a new museum that recently opened to the public.  The Monte W. Mays Midtown Museum on Court Street showcases a 50-year collection of historical artifacts.  Categories for more than 200,000 items include Cola Wars, Toyland, Tobacco Row, Gasoline Alley, World War II, Civil War, and Sports among others.  Open Thursday through Saturday, there is a small admission charge.
