North Creek Ridge B&B at Faisneis Farm

Bed & Breakfast Lodging in historic Appomattox, Va

Welcome to the North Creek Ridge Bed and Breakfast just outside Appomattox, Virginia, where the nation reunited in 1865 at the close of the Civil War. Come experience southern hospitality and enjoy the views and serenity from our country-style log home as you shed the hustle and bustle of your busy world in the quiet rural setting of a history-rich rural area. With cattle grazing nearby, lounge on our back patio while the sun sets behind the Blue Ridge Mountains. Innkeepers Holly and Jim Conroy welcome you to their recently completed log inn which offers affordable lodging on 63 acres just 7 miles from the Appomattox Court House National Historical Park (including the McLean House where the surrender of the Army of Northern Virginia was signed in 1865).

Our six rooms, with king or queen beds, offer unique décor reflecting treasures collected from around the U.S. and the world. Each room was carefully planned to be relaxing and comfortable as you feel the stress melt away! A special house-made treat awaits you each night as well.

Our goal is to provide warm hospitality, comfortable accommodations, and superb attention to detail. Within 15 minutes guests can visit the National Historical Park as well as the Appomattox Station Battlefield Park; the American Civil War Museum at Appomattox; and the Carver Price Legacy Museum. The local area includes several wineries, a distillery, and several microbreweries. Appomattox is also uniquely situated between Lynchburg, home to Liberty University, the University of Lynchburg, Randolph College, and the Lynchburg General Hospital School of Nursing; and Farmville, where Hampden-Sydney College and Longwood University are located.

The patio welcomes you to settle around the fire pit.  It is the perfect ending to a day of exploring Appomattox’s place in the history of the end of the Civil War, visiting Patrick Henry’s final home Red Hill or tasting at our local wineries. Tables and chairs provide a spot to enjoy a take-out dinner from one of our delightful local restaurants. And if you prefer to relax inside, try our Irish Pub on the lower level. Enjoy a complimentary glass of local wine in either spot!

North Creek Ridge B&B is an inspected and insured property.
